the leading provider of IT services with core focus on middleware technologies,
today announced investments to the tune of $10 million into the Indian Development
Center this coming year. This investment would be used to further fuel the Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA) capacity, to cater to increasing customer demands and
growth plans.

The announcement marks significance after the set up of a dedicated R&D cell for
Service Oriented Architecture recently, constituting a major part of the Torry
Harris workforce in Bangalore. The investment would be internally generated and is
an extension to the $1.2 million already dedicated to the SOA drive.

Speaking on the announcement Mr. Ashwin Krishna, Chief Operating Officer, Torry
Harris Business Solutions said "Our India Development Centre is consistently
outperforming and this investment shows our commitment to high-end work held at the
Centre".

Adding to the comment Ashwin Krishna said, "Our centre in Bangalore is already our
biggest worldwide and we are looking at increasing the headcount by atleast 500 in
the coming year. We are recruiting graduates as well as highly skilled technologists
to build on our SOA-centric skill-base. " Torry Harris is one of the few IT service
businesses with a specialist SOA R&D division comprising expert teams with extensive
experience in planning and implementing SOA strategies and environments. The
company, from inception, has remained focused on the middleware and integration
space that has today naturally evolved into SOA. .


The R&D cell, headquartered in Bangalore and headed by the CTO of the company,
Mr.Arnab Ghosh, caters to the next generation SOA needs of global clients. The R&D
team will also contribute to the best practices and evaluate tools available in the
SOA space. Torry Harris has also set up innovative programs and developed material,
to spread SOA awareness.
